Hailing from South London James Aaron began his career as a session singer. He has toured with ‘September Song’ singer, JP Cooper, and as lead singer with The Kingdom Choir, who famously sang at the Royal Wedding of Megan Marckle and Prince Harry.

Despite the pandemic in 2020 James Aaron kept spirits high with the release of Wish you Well (featured on DJ Ace’s BBC 1Xtra Show) and You’re Gonna Love Me who’s acoustic video has over 100,000 views on facebook. Chosen, released at the start of 2021 was dubbed one of the first big UK soul tunes of the year.

James is no stranger to the stage. His childhood years were spent winning talent shows and singing competitions honing his skills as a performer. When he hit the scene with his own music critics called it ‘true soul … filled with originality’.

James claims Stevie Wonder, and Michael Jackson as big musical influences, but he’s also been compared to the likes of Bruno Mars and Justin Timberlake for his pop-esque appeal.
